My experience as an Environmental Technician at the National Laboratory of Environmental Testing (NLET) provided me with invaluable hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of environmental analysis.

Key Contributions and Experiences:

• Method Development: I played a key role in advancing analytical techniques by contributing to the replacement of cadmium analysis with hydrazine, a less toxic alternative. This involved meticulous research, experimentation, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Water Quality Analysis: At NLET, I was immersed in the world of water quality testing, gaining a deep understanding of the parameters that affect water health and the methodologies used to assess them.

• Fire Assay Expertise: My experience with fire assay techniques provided me with a strong foundation in precious metal analysis, a valuable skill in various environmental and industrial contexts.

• Organic Compound Analysis: I honed my analytical skills further by working with semi-volatile organic compounds, utilizing techniques like GCMS to identify and quantify specific analytes in complex samples. This involved meticulous sample preparation, data analysis, and quality control to ensure accurate results.

• PHC Analysis: I gained proficiency in PHC (Petroleum Hydrocarbon) analysis based on CCME (Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment) guidelines, contributing to the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites.

This diverse experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of environmental testing methodologies, data analysis, and quality control procedures. I'm passionate about applying my scientific knowledge and technical skills to contribute to a more sustainable future.

• Logistics & International Trade: I began my journey in the fast-paced world of brokerage, where I managed LV shipments and guided clients through the complexities of tariffs and NAFTA regulations.

• Customer Advocacy & Support: At a shingle manufacturing company, I provided dedicated support to customers across the Midwest, specializing in pre-fabricated housing solutions. I also took on leadership roles, developing training programs for fellow agents and contributing to environmental and health & safety initiatives.

• Technical Expertise & Crisis Management: My most recent role with an automotive company challenged me to provide both technical expertise and compassionate support. I assisted customers with a wide range of issues, from troubleshooting vehicle malfunctions to navigating stolen vehicle recovery and even diffusing domestic disputes that arose during service interactions.

• Community Focus: I'm committed to serving my community and am currently expanding my skillset by pursuing a real estate license to further assist individuals with their housing needs.
